Minister to Youth, Children, and Families
Cornerstone United Methodist Church of Jonesboro, AR, is seeking to fill the newly created full-time position of Minister to Youth, Children, and Families that would begin Jan. 1, 2018. Cornerstone is a vibrant congregation in a growing area of Jonesboro, AR, with a strong heart for welcoming all people into a faith community, serving the community and world, and worshipping and sharing God’s grace through word and action.
The Minister to Youth, Children, and Families will be responsible for planning, coordination and implementation of all youth and children’s activities; recruiting, training, and equipping volunteers for youth and children’s ministries; and connecting with and caring for families in the Cornerstone community.
Candidate should be an enthusiastic team player, innovator, and self-starter. He or she should have a calling to lead and mentor young people in their walks with Christ and a passion for welcoming and integrating new families into faith and community. Preference will be given to candidates with training and experience in Christian education.
